West Moreton Health Eating Disorder Specialty Service and Living well Team provides assessment and treatment for people over 16 years affected by an eating disorder, and supports adults living with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and other severe, complex mental health challenges. Our team consists of a psychiatrist, psychiatry registrar, mental health nurse, dietitian, and psychologists. As the Team Leader/Nurse Manager you will be accountable for all the operational managerial aspects and leadership of a multi-disciplinary/multi-specialty community mental health team providing services to consumers. Permanent Full-time opportunity! HP5 $139,951 – $151,149 per annum NG7 $144,991 - $151,289 per annum.

What we're looking for

- Demonstrated expert level of clinical knowledge, expertise and skills in complex contemporary clinical practice, and evidence-based mental health service provision to adults diagnosed with personality disorder and eating disorder.
- Work collaboratively within a complex stakeholder and systemic framework with internal Queensland Health Services, and external government, non-government, and private health sector service providers to achieve the best outcomes for the client.
- Demonstrated ability to provide operational leadership, strategic direction, and management to a multidisciplinary, multi-specialist community mental health team.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in quality improvement, service evaluation and research initiatives on a local and State‑wide basis.

Mandatory Requirements

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
- This role provides health, counselling and support services that involve children and will require a blue card.
