Job Description
Song for the Mute is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our retail environment while delivering an elevated and highly personalised customer experience reflective of the brand.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of luxury fashion retail, client engagement, team leadership and operational management, while embodying the values and creative vision of Song for the Mute.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Lead and manage all daily retail operations across the store environment
n
- Deliver exceptional client service and cultivate long-term relationships with local and international clientele
n
- Drive sales performance and achieve retail targets through strategic client development and team leadership
n
- Train, mentor and manage retail staff to maintain a consistently high standard of presentation, product knowledge and customer experience
n
- Oversee rostering, staffing and day-to-day team management
n
- Maintain visual merchandising standards in alignment with the brand's creative direction
n
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement and replenishment requirements
n
- Liaise with head office teams across merchandising, operations and e-commerce to ensure alignment across the business
n
- Manage store reporting, sales analysis and operational administration
n
- Support retail activations, launches, events and VIP appointments
n

Skill & Experience
n
Requirements
n
n
- Minimum 3+ years experience in luxury fashion retail management
n
- Strong understanding of clientelling and luxury customer service standards
n
- Understanding of social media channels, particularly channels like WeChat and Redbook.
n
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a quick-paced retail environment
n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of sales performance and KPI management
n
- Passion for design, craftsmanship and contemporary fashion culture
n
- Flexible availability including weekends and event periods
n
n
Preferred
n
n
- Existing network within luxury fashion or creative industries
n
- Experience with Shopify & Zedonk.
n
- Experience working with international clientele
n
- Understanding of inventory systems and retail reporting platforms
n
n
