We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager – Residential Aged Care to lead the operations of a well-established residential aged care service committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred care.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive General Manager of Residential, you will have overall responsibility for the operational, financial and clinical performance of two residential facilities. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding resident outcomes while ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and all legislative requirements.

Your ability to inspire others, build meaningful relationships and drive continuous improvement will be central to your success.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strong, visible leadership across all aspects of the residence.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
- Ensure exceptional resident care and customer experience.
- Lead financial performance, budgeting and resource management.
- Drive occupancy growth and community engagement.
- Maintain compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support and develop leaders and employees through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.




- Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, medical practitioners and external stakeholders.

About You

You are an experienced operational leader who combines commercial acumen with genuine compassion for older people.

You will bring:

- Demonstrated leadership experience within residential aged care.
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
- Proven experience managing operational and financial performance.
- Exceptional people leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A collaborative, authentic and approachable leadership style.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Health Management.
- Current National Police Check and evidence of relevant vaccinations in accordance with legislative requirements.
