Salary: $34.7747 – $39.6544 per hour plus 25% casual loading plus Superannuation

Pedal & Flipper is one of Australia’s largest bicycle hire operations, offering pedal bikes, electric bikes, mobility equipment, and other recreational items to Rottnest Island visitors. The team of Visitor Services Assistants plays a key role in delivering high-quality service as part of the Rottnest Island Authority. The business operates year-round, and the team assists customers with hire transactions on a seven-day roster. Pedal & Flipper is part of the Visitor Services Directorate, which also manages Stay Rottnest rental accommodation and the Rottnest Island Visitor Centre.

The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.





Selection Criteria

1. Demonstrated experience in the delivery of superior sales and customer service within a busy tourism, recreation or retail setting.
2. Demonstrated ability to resolve customer service issues.
3. Demonstrated ability to handle cash and accurately balance takings using a retail Point of Sale or web based booking system
4. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment where physical fitness is a factor.
