Cibaria Noosa is looking for a confident, organised and experienced Host to join our Front of House team! As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a critical role in creating exceptional customer experiences while keeping service running smoothly in a fast‐paced, high‐volume workplace. About The Role
n

- Be the first point of contact for all guests, creating a warm, welcoming and professional first impression
n
- Manage reservations, seating plans and waitlists to ensure smooth and efficient service flow throughout each shift
n
- Monitor guest arrivals and table allocations, balancing service demands while maximising the dining experience
n
- Effectively handle guest enquiries, special requests and feedback, resolving issues with confidence and professionalism
n
- Maintain accurate reservation and guest information within our booking platform
n
- Communicate closely with the Restaurant Manager, Supervisors and Front of House team regarding service requirements, VIP guests and table availability
n
- Assist in coordinating large bookings, special events and peak service periods
n
- Proactively manage guest expectations and wait times while delivering exceptional customer service
n
- Ensure host stand, entry areas and guest‐facing spaces are presented to the highest standard at all times
n
- Support the wider Front of House team as required to ensure seamless restaurant operations
n
- Contribute to a positive team culture by leading with professionalism, energy and a guest‐first mindset
n

Qualifications
n
n
- Experienced in a Host, Front of House or customer‐facing hospitality role
n
- A strong problem solver who can remain calm under pressure
n
- Confident managing guest expectations in a busy restaurant environment
n
- Highly organised with exceptional communication skills
n
- Able to work independently while contributing to a positive team culture
n
- Proficient with reservation systems; SevenRooms experience highly regarded
n
