Job Description

- Oversee and manage inventory accounting processes and procedures.
n
- Prepare and review financial statements related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
n
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory management practices.
n
- Analyse inventory variances and provide actionable recommendations.Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
n
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
n
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions effectively.

The Successful Applicant

n





A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

n

n
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
n
- Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent).
n
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting processes and standards.
n
- Proven ability to analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights.
n
- Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
