A$110,000.00/yr - A$125,000.00/yr

A valued client of ours in the Inner West of Sydney is seeking a full-time permanent IT manager to Manage a team of two IT Officers

n

The IT Manager will play a key role in shaping and executing IT. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT department, managing the internal IT team, and ensuring the successful completion of IT projects within established timelines and budgets. Serving as the main point of contact for maintaining a secure and efficient IT infrastructure, the role involves close collaboration with external consultants. This position offers an opportunity for an experienced IT professional to contribute to the strategic direction and operational excellence of our organisation.

Requirements:

n

n
- At least five years of experience in the IT sector within mid-cap companies
n
- Relevant tertiary degree and/or recognised qualifications within Information Technology
n
- Problem-solving - ability to deal with ambiguous circumstances and take an assumption-based approach to drive IT to project outcomes
n
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 suite, Entra, SSO and Intune
n
- Clear communication and presentation skills
n
- Relationship management - develop and maintain effective working relationships with the ability to influence, advise and support key decision-makers
n
- Proven experience in ICT and business operations management
n




- Contribute to the design and lead the implementation of various IT projects to enhance the overall process within the organisational business units
n
- Support and resolve technical IT incidents as well as improve broad internal IT capabilities to increase and enhance outcomes
n
- Improve the cyber security posture of the company to prevent and respond to threats and safeguard its information, assets, and services
n
- Manage technology licenses and subscriptions, including periodic renewals
n
- Collaborating with our internal staff to analyse business requirements, provide functional and business analysis including process mapping, requirements gathering, scoping and estimation.
n
- Managing ICT systems performance, maintenance, cyber security and risk mitigation
n
- Managing ICT costs, budget planning and life cycle replacement
n
