This major Australian organisation is modernising its technology ecosystem, and we're looking for a Technology savvy Business Analyst who brings structure, clarity, and delivery discipline across multiple product domains.

n

You'll work across Technology teams, Product teams, Engineering teams, and Business SMEs, and play a key role in uplifting the business analysis capability and practices. You'll join an existing team of Business Analysts to benefit from some knowledge transfer, and will support a hands‐on leader who guides this team towards success.

What you'll be doing:

Requirements & Discovery

n

n
- Lead interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions across multiple business units.
n
- Analyse current‐state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
n
- Produce high‐quality artefacts, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframes, data mapping.
n
- Break down features into clear, dev‐ready stories.
n

Solution Design & Technical Analysis

n

n




- Work with Engineering and Architecture teams to validate feasibility.
n
- Document functional specs, data flows, integration requirements, and API‐related artefacts.
n
- Support API design discussions by capturing business rules and data contracts.
n

n

Delivery Execution & Quality Assurance

n

n
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies and drive alignment across squads.
n
- Own delivery reporting, risks, and quality metrics.
n
- Ensure UAT readiness and manage defect triage.
n
- Maintain end‐to‐end traceability across delivery stages.
n

n

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

n

n
- Build strong relationships across a national stakeholder base.
n
- Translate technical concepts into business language (and vice versa).
n
- Support pipeline planning and capacity discussions with the Head of Delivery.
n

What you bring:

n

n
- 4+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in an Enterprise level technology delivery environment.
n
- Deep proficiency in requirements documentation and backlog management.
n
- Solid understanding of SDLC, APIs, integrations, and data flows.
n
- Confident stakeholder engagement across business and technical audiences.
n
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tooling.
n
- Tertiary qualifications or BA/Agile certifications (IIBA, CBAP, CCBA, CSPO, PSM) are a bonus.
