MAINTENANCE FITTER $121,000 | South West Sydney | Permanent Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 4:00am–12:00pm THE OPPORTUNITY We’re looking for a Trade-Qualified Maintenance Fitter to join a high-performing industrial operation in South West Sydney.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for breakdown maintenance, preventative maintenance, equipment reliability and continuous improvement, working closely with operators, supervisors and the wider maintenance team.

The biggest attraction? Monday to Friday, 4:00am–12:00pm — giving you a genuine early finish while still working in a technically challenging maintenance environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Respond to mechanical breakdowns and diagnose faults quickly to minimise downtime.
- Carry out preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance across plant and equipment.
- Develop a strong understanding of site equipment, machinery and services.
- Work closely with machine operators and supervisors to identify issues and determine appropriate repair strategies.
- Investigate recurring equipment failures and recommend solutions to improve reliability.





WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Machinist.
- Minimum 4–5 years' experience in a maintenance environment.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and breakdown maintenance experience.
- Experience working within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to investigate equipment failures and identify the root cause.
- Robust understanding of preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Experience with maintenance management systems — MEX experience highly regarded.
