Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, as the Maintenance Fitter you will be responsible for the mechanical installation, repairs and maintenance on borefields and on-lake infrastructure, non-process infrastructure and fixed plant.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the processing plant and non-processing infrastructure to ensure all mechanical equipment operates to maximum efficiency.
- Conduct diagnostics and fault finding on fixed plant and infrastructure equipment as required to effect repair and maintain asset availability.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and industry standards and practices where applicable for mechanical installations and works on site.
- Minimise lost production time due to unplanned stoppages through effective execution of planned maintenance of equipment
- Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance work, through work order close out
ABOUT YOU You will have a demonstrated positive attitude and strong commitment to safety, have initiative and act in a proactive manner to anticipate and solve problems in the context of operational requirements and environmental and/or cultural legal constraints. With a strong focus on continuous improvement and high levels of attention of detail you will have a good knowledge of safety and environment management systems.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Completion of Australian recognised Mechanical Trade
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s license
- Working at Heights (HTS) and Confined Spaces (CS) certification
- High Risk Work Licence (HRWL), including Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Non-slewing Mobile Crane (CN), Perform Dogging (DG) licence and Telehandler
- Construction White Card.
