Your team: The Workplace Technology team is a dynamic support team that provides a single contact point for ASX Staff and an escalation point for the End User Compute team, third level support for end user support. Meeting Working in a small team that is responsible for phone, email, logged tickets and escalation point for 3rd end users.

Your responsibilities

- Provide end to end support for IT requests raised via phone, email, ticketing system and in-person
- Ensure requests are logged accurately within the internal ticketing system (ServiceNow) for reporting and fault analysis
- Action requests within appropriate time frames
- Perform installation and technical support of hardware and software to ASX staff




- Problem Management for repeating and reoccurring faults
- GPO and Scripting for Active Directory
- Escalation point for 1st and 2nd level support
- The role requires some out of hours work and has a rostered On-Call component
- The role is flexible but primarily based‑site at the ASX office in the Sydney CBD.
- Additional support for an office at Gore Hill, as well as remotely across offices in Australia and internationally will also be periodically required.

Your experience and qualifications

Must have

- Provision of excellent customer service and support to stakeholders at all enterprise levels
- Support, administration and management of key enterprise platforms including:
- Active Directory
- Windows Group Policy
- Strong PowerShell scripting knowledge
- Microsoft SCCM / Intune configuration
- Windows 11
- Virtual Desktop

- Good understanding of Office 365
- Experience identifying trends and root cause of problems
- In depth technical understanding of Microsoft software and operating systems
- Strong experience supporting laptops, desktops and mobile devices
- Experience supporting a broad range of corporate, financial and development applications and platforms

Nice to have

- Practical experience managing Windows Group Policy Application packaging/deployment skills
- Support of Virtual Machine environments
