Intrinzic are partnering with a leading national organisation on a 12-month contract prospect for a Data Analyst to join their team. This role is Melbourne-based with hybrid working (mix of office and remote).

You'll be part of a small but growing team focused on turning data into proactive insights — helping the business identify and resolve issues before they impact customers.

What you'll be doing

- Analyse large sets of network performance data to identify recurring issues and trends
n
- Collaborate with vendors and internal technical teams to resolve hardware or environmental problems
n
- Use SQL to query databases, Python for scripting/automation, and Tableau for reporting and dashboards
n
- Build analytics to support a proof of concept for predictive fault detection, moving operations from reactive to proactive
n
- Work across technologies including Cisco, Nokia, HFC, FTTP, FTTX, and DWDM
n

What we're looking for

n

n




- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
n
- Technical skills in SQL, Python, and Tableau (or similar BI tools)
n
- Network knowledge is a plus (Cisco, Nokia, HFC, FTTP, FTTX, DWDM) — but not essential if you're eager to learn
n
- Great communication skills — able to work with both technical engineers and non-technical stakeholders
n
- Attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn are just as important as experience
n
- Prior experience working in a Telco would be beneficial, although it is not mandatory.
n
- Be part of a small but growing team (2 now, expanding to 4) within a wider group of 23–24
n
- Work on initiatives that could extend your contract well beyond 12 months
n
- Gain exposure to cutting-edge network technologies and national-scale data challenges
n
- Competitive Daily rate - $600 to $800 inclusive of super - dependant on experience
