Lead, develop and run day‐to‐day operations of the QC department for a values‐driven organisation that prioritises quality.

Responsibilities
n
n
- Manage the quality control of raw materials, bulk product and materials, packaging, and finished goods.
n
- Oversee day‐to‐day laboratory operations for a team of 21 across 3 shifts (days, afternoons, nights).
n
- Provide technical guidance with out‐of‐spec (OOS) investigations and troubleshooting.
n
- Maintain strong working relationships with key departments such as manufacturing, warehouse, and purchasing.
n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed customer quality expectations.
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
- 10+ years of experience in analytical laboratory, supervisory, and department management roles within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
n
- Science degree in Analytical Chemistry.
n
- Demonstrated ability to lead a high‐performing team in a TGA & GMP environment.
n
- Strong commitment to honesty, problem solving, and detail‐oriented quality control.
n
- PR, AU or NZ citizenship and a valid Australian Driver's Licence.
n
