Coordinate and manage high-profile road infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

n

Our client is a prominent player in the delivery of major infrastructure projects with a strong pipeline of work across NSW. They are now looking for a Site Engineer to join their team based in Mudgee. This could be someone based there full time, on a DIDO (Drive in / Drive out) basis from Newcastle, Sydney or another location. On-going contract role.

This role is essential to the success of their roads project, ensuring effective project planning, stakeholder management, and execution.

n

You will ideally have experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects (ideally roads projects) with either a head contractor background, client-side project management or government background. You'll need to have a proven track record in coordinating complex projects, managing multiple priorities, and delivering results in line with government standards and community expectations.

The ideal candidate will have:

n

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
n
- Minimum of 3 years' experience.
n
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with contractors, regulators, and internal teams.
n
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with documentation, reporting, and contract management.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex issues and develop practical solutions.
n
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven influencing and negotiation abilities.
n
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project.
n
- Must have a driving licence
