Our client is a large and diverse organisation delivering essential services across multiple locations. With a busy finance function supporting a substantial workforce, they are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join the team on a 6-month contract and provide immediate support across payroll and finance operations.

Your New Role

n

This is a hands-on Finance Officer position with a strong payroll focus. You'll spend around 60% of your time supporting payroll processing and compliance, with the remainder dedicated to reconciliations, journals, reporting and month-end activities.

Key duties include:

n

- Fortnightly payroll processing and timesheet administration.
n
- Reconciliations, journals and general ledger support.
n
- Assisting with month-end reporting and BAS preparation.
n
- Maintaining payroll and financial data within TechnologyOne.
n




- Supporting ad hoc finance projects and team initiatives.
n

What you need to succeed

n

You will be an experienced Finance, Payroll or Accounts skilled with a solid understanding of payroll processing, financial administration and month-end support. Confident working within ERP systems and operating in a fast-paced environment, you'll be ready to make an immediate impact from the outset.
