What you'll do
n
As our new Transport Engineer, you will:
n
n
- Contribute to the planning, analysis and concept design of traffic and transport solutions for road, active transport and precinct projects.
n
- Lead transport feasibility studies, transport planning strategies and traffic impact assessments.
n
- Provide trusted advice to clients such as transport agencies and private developers, including participation in workshops and presentations.
n
- Coordinate traffic and transport inputs into multi-disciplinary projects, working closely with road design, civil, planning and digital teams.
n
- Mentor junior traffic/transport engineers, helping them grow their technical capability and consulting skills.
n
- Contribute to bids, client relationship development and new service offerings, including digital tools and automation in transport engineering workflows.

What you'll bring
n
n
- Degree qualifications in civil / transport engineering or a related discipline.
n
- Significant experience in traffic engineering and transport planning, ideally gained on Australian or New Zealand projects.
n
- Sound knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (e.g. Austroads, state government requirements, etc.).
n
- Demonstrated experience leading traffic inputs on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, including client‐facing delivery.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
n
- Chartered status (CPEng) or equivalent, or a clear pathway towards it.
