About the Role:

Redpath Partners have been exclusively engaged by a leading engineering consultancy, who are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee all facets of their operations. This leadership role requires a strategic, hands-on manager with a strong background in civil engineering and business management, coupled with a proven track record in driving company growth, enhancing revenue, and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflows and implementing process improvements.
n
- Drive business development initiatives and oversee the generation of new work.
n
- Assist in developing and implementing business strategies aligned with company goals.
n
- Oversee marketing efforts to enhance the firm's market presence.
n
- Ensure technical excellence in civil engineering project delivery.
n
- Manage risk, compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
n
- Mentor and develop senior management and staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
n

Key Requirements:

n

n
- Minimum 15 years of experience in civil engineering or construction, with at least 10 years in a senior management role.
n
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA or relevant business degree.
n
- Strong technical background in civil engineering and project delivery.
n
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving results.
n
- Experience in business development, budgeting, and commercial negotiations.
n
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
