Nicholas Scott is working with leading global law firm renowned for its expertise in employment law and workplace relations.

n

They have an opportunity for a talented and motivated Employment Lawyer (Qualified in England & Wales or a returning Australian lawyer) to join a dynamic team in Sydney. You will work on a broad range of employment and workplace relations matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to their clients.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Advising clients on employment law matters, including industrial relations, workplace policies, unfair dismissals, and discrimination claims.
n
- Assisting with employment-related disputes, including litigation in Fair Work Commission and other relevant tribunals and courts.
n
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, workplace policies, and other legal documents.
n
- Advising on workplace investigations, compliance, and risk management strategies.
n
- Supporting clients with workplace restructuring, redundancies, and enterprise bargaining agreements.
n
- Keeping up to date with employment law developments and providing thought leadership on emerging trends.
n

n

Requirements:

n

n
- 2–5 years PQE in employment law gained at a reputable UK or Australian law firm or in-house team.
n
- Strong communication and client management skills with the ability to provide commercially focused advice.
n




- A proactive and team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when required.
n
