About the Role

n

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Village Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a large student accommodation community on the Gold Coast. Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team across operations, administration, facilities and customer service, ensuring the village consistently delivers exceptional resident experiences while achieving strong commercial and operational outcomes. This is a hands‐on leadership role requiring a commercially minded operator who can balance financial performance, stakeholder engagement and team leadership within a rapid‐paced residential environment. You are an experienced operations leader with a background managing large accommodation, hospitality, residential, retirement living, student accommodation or property environments. You enjoy leading people, improving operational performance and creating exceptional customer experiences.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will bring the following:

n

- Lead the daily operations of a large residential accommodation community and develop and execute annual business plans, operational strategies and budgets
n
- Drive occupancy through effective leasing,



sales and marketing initiatives, manage financial performance, forecasting, reporting and cost control
n
- Build strong relationships with university partners and key stakeholders
n
- Foster a safe, inclusive and engaging resident community while leading resident engagement programs and community events
n
- Manage contractors, suppliers and external service providers and oversee maintenance programs, refurbishments and capital works
n
- Ensure compliance across WHS, legislation, policies and operational standards
n
- Represent the business at stakeholder meetings and industry events
n

About You

n

You will also bring:

n

- Previous experience in a senior operational leadership role with strong financial management and budgeting experience
n
- Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and have strong commercial acumen with a focus on driving occupancy and profitability
n
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills with experience managing maintenance, facilities or asset-related projects
n
- Strong understanding of compliance, WHS and operational governance
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused leadership style with excellent organisational and time management skills
n
