ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you an experienced sign industry designer or signage professional ready for a role where you can design, deal with customers, and see your work come to life across the region?
Signs By Knight is looking for a Sales/Estimator & Graphic Designer to join our long-established, family-owned signage business in Albury-Wodonga.
This is a hands‑on, varied role combining:
- Customer consultation & sales
- Signage design & artwork setup
- Quoting/Estimating & job management
- Coordination with production & installation teams
If you enjoy variety, responsibility, and seeing projects through from concept to installation, this role will suit you perfectly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with customers from enquiry → quote → approval
- Liaise with clients to understand signage needs and provide solutions
- Prepare accurate quotes and manage job workflows
- Create production‑ready signage artwork
- Design using CorelDRAW and/or Adobe Illustrator
- Liaise with production and installation teams
- Select appropriate signage materials and finishes
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery of all work
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in the signage industry (essential)
- Confident communication skills
- Experienced in graphic design for signage production
- Skilled in CorelDRAW and/or Adobe Illustrator
- Comfortable speaking with customers and managing expectations
- Experienced in estimating/quoting and project coordination (advantage)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Practical, solutions‑focused and reliable
- A strong team player with a positive attitude
