Marketing Executive – Pelligra Hotels
Ready to take your career to the next level and join an iconic brand? We are looking for a Marketing Executive, to play a pivotal role in delivering a cohesive and efficient marketing support function across multiple hotels within the Pelligra hotel portfolio.
This role will be primarily based at Crowne Plaza Melbourne Carlton and is rooted in collaboration, supporting each property to achieve its commercial objectives while ensuring alignment with (and not limited to) IHG, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn brand strategies. The focus is on delivering hands on marketing support that respect the unique characteristics of each hotel while driving efficiencies and consistency across all channels.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Hotel -Wide Marketing Support
- Work closely with the hotels Commercial Lead and Cluster Director of Marketing to ensure marketing initiatives are integrated with overarching sales strategies.
- Provide functional and hands on support to hotel-level Directors of Sales, Director of Sales & Marketing or General Managers where applicable.
Core Duties
- Support hotels with social media activities including content creation, post creation/sharing as well as developing and maintaining a proactive social media calendar.
- Support hotels with ad hoc activations (F&B; and other), collateral development, asset creation, and digital updates.
- Support hotels with EDM’s creation and execution
- Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns and ad hoc activities across all channels, ensuring consistency while addressing the nuances of individual properties in accordance with the hotel (s) priorities as directed by the hotel Commercial Lead and / or the Cluster Director of Marketing.
- Support hotels (where relevant) with local marketing and community engagement activities
Stakeholder Relations
- Work in collaboration with the hotel team members and Pelligra Portfolio Commercial team
- Build and nurture strong relationships with the larger portfolio hotel teams, creating a unified and supportive network that contributing to the delivery of impactful marketing tasks initiatives.
- Ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with each hotel’s strategic direction and commercial goals, actively contributing to the achievement of overall revenue and business objectives across the portfolio
Responsible Business
- Ensure all marketing activities adhere to ethical standards and comply with legal regulations.
- Integrate sustainability into marketing strategies, focusing on minimising environmental impact and supporting community initiatives.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships aligned with ethical and sustainability standards.
- Regularly evaluate marketing practices to ensure they remain ethical, compliant, and aligned with corporate values.
Guest Experience:
- Support marketing initiatives that elevate the guest experience across all properties, reinforcing brand promises and driving loyalty.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns,
resulting in improved guest satisfaction.
- Incorporate guest feedback into marketing strategies to demonstrate a commitment to continuously improving their experience
What we need from you:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a marketing executive role within the hospitality industry, preferably across multiple properties.
- Experience in digital marketing, social media marketing and content creation.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A self-starter.
- Proficiency in data analysis and market research to drive informed marketing decisions.
