About the Role

Reporting to the Team Lead – Printhead Systems, you will support the design, development, testing and optimisation of printhead systems, coating processes and manufacturing technologies used in our creative medical device platform.

This is a hands-on role that combines product development, process optimisation, equipment testing and data analysis, supporting activities from early-stage development through to clinical manufacturing and commercial scale-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimise printhead systems, coating processes and associated technologies for product and process development.
- Design, build and evaluate engineering test systems and prototypes.
- Plan, execute and document experiments to characterise and improve printhead performance and coating processes.
- Support design verification, validation and technology qualification activities.
- Operate, calibrate and troubleshoot manufacturing, test and measurement equipment.
- Analyse experimental data, prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists and manufacturing teams to support clinical manufacturing and future scale-up activities.

About You





You will bring

- Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Biomedical, Manufacturing or related Engineering discipline.
- Experience in engineering, product development, advanced manufacturing or a related technical environment.
- Experience using CAD software and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
- A hands-on approach with a strong willingness to learn and contribute in a multidisciplinary environment.

Desirable Experience

- Printhead, dispensing, fluidics or coating technologies.
- Mechatronics, automation or engineering test system development.
- Precision mechanical systems and dimensional metrology.
- Medical device, pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Design controls, verification and validation activities.
- ISO quality systems and regulated product development.
