We are looking for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic Fulltime/Part time Receptionist to join our supportive team.
Location: Malvern and Prahran VIC
Airlie Women's Clinic, A Family Medical Centre fully accredited general practice based in Prahran and Malvern. The practice has over 25 female GP's with a special interest in women's health and preventative medicine. Whilst many of the patients are female, the practice also consults to men and children. The premises are modern and fully computerised using Best Practice software, beautifully renovated, and located close to public transport.
Responsibilities
- Front desk administration (answering phones, making appointments, processing claims and payments)
- Liaise with patients and their families, GP's, other health professionals and their staff in a compassionate manner
- Scanning and updating all patient-related correspondence and results
- All general reception, administrative and medical support duties as required
- Provide ongoing support to GP and practice nurse as required
- Be a friendly point of contact between patients and the internal clinical team
- Ability to work independently and as a team
Essential Requirements
- Medical admin/reception experience preferred
- Best Practice software experience highly regarded
- Strong Customer Service Skills with an ability to work in a quick-paced environment
- Close attention to detail
- Show initiative and work productively within a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties
- Exceptional time management skills
- Establish and maintain a great rapport with patients and colleagues
Practice hours are 8am to 7.00 pm Monday to Friday and 9-1 Saturday. Generous remuneration based on qualification and experience.
