North Queensland Cardiac Clinic is seeking a part-time or casual reliable, honest, and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our busy Specialist Medical Centre. This is a frontline role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and contributing to a supportive team. The hours will be between 24-30 hours a week depending on clinic needs.

About the Role

- Manage patient appointments and enquiries in a professional manner
- Coordinate schedules for Consultant Physicians and medical technicians
- Perform billing, file management, and general administrative duties
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records
- Retrieve patient medical records in a timely manner
- Priorities and follow health skilled instructions
- Demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving




- Weekend and afternoon closing shifts required

Skills and Experience (Essential)

- Previous experience in a medical practice or specialist clinic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and multitask effectively
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
- High level of professionalism and attention to confidentiality
- Reliable, organised, and team-focused

Desirable (Not Essential)

- Nursing experience or previous clinical healthcare background
- Experience working in a specialist medical setting
