About the role

Lighthouse Christian College – Keysborough is seeking a passionate and qualified VCE English Teacher to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is based in Keysborough, VIC 3173, and offers the opportunity to play a vital part in shaping the education and development of our secondary students.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective VCE English lessons to secondary students
n
- Assess and provide feedback on student work to support their learning and growth
n
- Actively participate in curriculum development and implementation
n
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
n
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods
n
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities
n
- Undertake other duties as required to support the overall functioning of the college
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- A Bachelor of Education or a postgraduate teaching degree (Master of Teaching)
n
- A current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
n
- 5 Years of demonstrated teaching experience with a minimum of 3 Years VCE English experience is essential. Experience in VCE English marking will be an advantage.
n
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate English concepts
n




- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
n
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
n
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
