n Salary Package: $140,000- $145,000
n Role Highlights: This fast-paced, high-growth organisation is seeking a Finance Business Partner with a strong commercial background. With around 1,500 employees and retail and distribution branches across Australia, the business services clients in the manufacturing, mining, and construction sectors.
n As part of a global group, this is an opportunity to join a market leader with a strong presence across Australia and Current Zealand.
n Role Overview: As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial and strategic outcomes across state operations and business lines, with a primary focus on the Sales and Operations teams. This role partners closely with leadership teams to manage P&L; performance, deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics, and strengthen planning and forecasting frameworks.
n You will be instrumental in scenario planning, predictive modelling, and business case development to guide investment, portfolio optimisation and long-range growth. With a strong focus on transformation and continuous improvement, you will enhance reporting systems (Power BI, TM1) and empower non-finance stakeholders to build commercial capability.
n Beyond analysis, we are looking for someone who will act as a trusted advisor and has proven experience in translating complex insights into clear, strategic recommendations and supporting the company's vision to accelerate business performance across the board.
n Responsibilities

- Partner with leaders and state managers to deliver strategic and P&L; performance
n
- Build advanced reporting and analytics capability to provide actionable insights
n
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles and highlight key business impacts
n




- Support strategy and transformation initiatives by solving challenges and driving execution plans
n
- Provide decision support through scenario modelling, business cases, and long-range planning
n
- Enhance reporting systems (PowerBI, TM1) and streamline processes for accuracy and efficiency
n
- Empower and upskill non-finance stakeholders to drive commercial ownership across the business
n

Candidate Profile

n

- Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights
n
- Skilled at combining numbers with strategy to influence decision-making across the business
n
- Advanced Excel modelling experience, with exposure to tools like Power BI and TM1 highly regarded
n
- A natural business partner who can build trust and communicate clearly with finance and non-finance teams
n
- Self-motivated, adaptable and hands-on, with the drive to deliver results in a changing environment
n
- Passionate about improving processes and using data to drive performance and business growth
