Our client is a leading innovator in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), delivering advanced clean energy solutions for commercial and utility-scale projects across Australia. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Field Service Electrician to join their expanding operations team and support the performance and reliability of energy storage assets nationwide.

About the role

n

This is a hands-on field service role focused on maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance support of live BESS sites.

n

You will be based in Bayswater, Melbourne, with regular interstate travel (approximately 40%) across VIC, NSW, QLD, and SA. All travel and accommodation expenses are fully covered.

n





This role does not involve installation work.

n

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Field-based fault finding, diagnostics, and corrective maintenance on BESS assets
n
- Preventative maintenance and scheduled service visits
n
- Supporting troubleshooting activities alongside engineering teams
n
- Conducting system checks, testing, and performance verification
n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with procedures and standards
n
- Completing clear and accurate service reports and documentation
n
- Contributing to continuous improvement of system reliability and performance
n

About you

n

- A Grade Electrical Licence (essential)
n
- Solid practical electrical skills and willingness to learn
n
- Good problem-solving ability and mechanical/electrical aptitude
n
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
- Comfortable with regular interstate travel
n
- Safety-focused and reliable
n
- Full Australian working rights and valid driver's licence
n
