What’s on Offer
- $68.77 per hour casual rate
- Additional $3.00 per hour site allowance
- Applicable penalties and allowances
- 12-hour shifts on a 2 weeks on 1 week off roster
- Flights and camp accommodation provided

- Approximately eight weeks of work, including pre-work and shutdown activities
The Chance
CE Group is seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors, Hazardous Area Electricians and Electricians for a remote Mining project located approximately four hours from Mount Isa.
We will be establishing two crews, with each crew comprising approximately three to six Electricians and one Electrical Supervisor. Each crew will also require at least one HA qualified Electrician.
Project dates are expected to be 7th September – 23rd November,
although these may move by approximately one to two weeks.
About the Role
The project scope will include:
- Installation of a new switchroom
- Installation of new main switchboards and new transformers
- Installation of new instrumentation and field equipment
- Installation and termination of power and control cabling
- Testing and commissioning of all installed power and control systems
- Electrical supervision, quality control and visible safety leadership
About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Relevant electrical trade qualifications and a current electrical licence
- Previous industrial, Mining ,construction, Hazardous Area or commissioning experience
- Experience with switchrooms, switchboards, transformers, instrumentation or control systems
- Current S1, S2 and S3 competencies if applying as an Electrical Supervisor
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork and remote project delivery
