About the Role

n

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Casual Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a part time basis at our Mareeba Gardens site. You will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care and enhancing the daily lives of our residents.

n

No two days are the same!

n

As Personal Care Assistant, you will:

n

n




- Provide personal care including assistance with showering, dressing and grooming
n
- Support residents with mobility and secure manual handling
n
- Assist with meals, hydration, and daily living activities
n
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
n
- Observe and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing
n
- Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
n
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
n

n

About You:

n

n
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
n
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar role (desirable)
n
- A genuine passion for caring for older people
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A positive, team-focused attitude
n
- Ability to work across a variety of shifts
n
- Understanding of person-centred care
n
- Current National Police Check and relevant vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current NDIS WC (or willingness to obtain)
n
