Roaming Therapy is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our growing mobile allied health team across Melbourne.
This role is ideal for an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years' post-graduate experience who enjoys working autonomously and wants flexibility, strong earning potential and a varied community-based caseload.
You’ll work with NDIS participants across Melbourne, completing Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) as well as providing ongoing face-to-face occupational therapy in clients’ homes and community settings.

Your Responsibilities
As a Mobile Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Complete comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs)
- Prepare high-quality, evidence-based FCA reports and recommendations
- Deliver ongoing face-to-face occupational therapy to NDIS participants
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments based on participants’ needs and goals
- Develop individualised therapy and intervention plans
- Support participants to improve independence, functional capacity and participation in everyday activities
- Provide therapy within clients’ homes and community settings
- Make recommendations regarding assistive technology, equipment and environmental modifications where appropriate
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, support coordinators and other health professionals
- Complete clinical notes, reports and required NDIS documentation
- Manage your caseload and appointment schedule
- Provide high-quality, participant-centred care
- Travel to clients within your allocated Melbourne service area
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments and report writing
- Confidence providing ongoing face-to-face occupational therapy
- Solid clinical reasoning and written communication skills
- Strong time-management and organisational skills
- Ability to work confidently and independently in the community
- Current driver’s licence
- Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- Full Australian working rights
Previous NDIS experience is highly regarded.
