St Teresa’s College is a Catholic boarding school for boys in Years 7–12, located on the Herbert River, just outside Ingham, North Queensland.

With its extensive facilities, boarding village, multiple sporting fields and courts, swimming pool and many other educational facilities, St Teresa’s provides a unique environment where first nations boys are encouraged to grow in knowledge, faith, and character. St Teresa’s College is seeking dedicated Head of Residence, Boarding Supervisors, Recreational Officer and Youth Worker to help create a safe, structured, and welcoming space where students can thrive. Position to commence ASAP with multiple positions available for 2027.

St Teresa’s College may provide:

· Housing and relocation support to the successful applicant





· Flexible roster

· Full-time, part-time and casual roles available In this hands-on role, you will:

· Support the daily routines and wellbeing of boarding students

· Promote a positive and respectful boarding culture

· Assist with pastoral care, supervision, and student behaviour

· Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and discipline

· Liaise with health staff and manage dietary needs

· Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff

· Uphold the College’s values, policies, and mission

Additional duties for Head of Residence, Recreation Officer and Youth Worker. Position Descriptions available upon request.

Blue Card (working with Children) is essential. No formal qualification required, but experience in residential care or school boarding environments is highly valued. A degree or certificate in youth worker is recommended. A LR (Light Rigid) bus licence is recommended.
