We are looking for a Digital Preservation Lead to join the Digital Archives team in this exciting and rewarding role.

n

You will oversee the management of transfers, ingest, curation, and discoverability of Queensland Government's permanent, value-born digital records and develop best-practice methodologies for the archival preservation of digital records.

In this role, you will:

- Oversee, develop, and execute digital preservation workflows that meet collection, access, and user needs.
n
- Oversee the operational implementation of digital preservation strategies at QSA, including developing records of policies, work plans, resource management,



and preservation priorities.
n
- Investigate, recommend, implement, and refine methodologies and practices for sustainable and secure digital archiving.
n
- Develop and maintain expertise in QSA's digital preservation tools, including providing advanced support to teams using the system.
n
- Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on preservation formats, metadata, transfers, and imaging best practices for various file formats and carrier types.
n
- Maintain statistics, prepare reports, and use relevant data to inform program planning and continuous process improvement.
