Job Description

n
- Assists in the supervision of Security Officers on assigned shift.
n
- Maintains adequate staffing levels, by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting and disciplining employees, as needed.
n
- Patrols the property on assigned shift, identifying potential security and/or safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate individual, to ensure the safety and protection of guests, employees and the entire facility.
n
- Acts as a back-up to Security Officers on assigned shift, and assumes their duties when necessary.
n
- Prepares and requests reports on incidents involving guests, employees and/or the facility, as needed.
n
- Guards transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor, as well as the physical transportation of chip fills and credits.
n
- Acts as a backup to Security Officers on assigned shift, and assumes their duties.
n
- Interacts with guests and employees in a positive, skilled manner.
n
- Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction throughout the property is achieved and maintained.
n
- Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property,



by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
n
- Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
n
- Create and utilize a comprehensive and sustainable employee engagement strategy through both formal and informal feedback as well as constant communication
n
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
n

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

n

n
- High school diploma or GED required; an Associates of Arts degree in any field is preferred.
n
- Must have a minimum of one year of supervisor and guest services experience.
n
- Two years of experience in law enforcement or gaming security strongly preferred.
n
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
n
