Job Description

We're currently partnering with an organisation in Melbourne's north to appoint an experienced IT Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of medium-sized technology initiatives.

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who can step into an active delivery environment, quickly establish momentum, and work closely with technical and business stakeholders to drive outcomes.

n

You'll be working within a collaborative IT project delivery team, reporting into the Technology & Digital Solutions Lead, and will take ownership of planning, coordinating and delivering several concurrent projects.

n

Duration: Initially 3 months with an prospect to extend

n

Rate: $1000-$1100 p/d

n

The Role

n

Key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of IT and business technology projects
n
- Defining project scope, timelines, milestones and deliverables with sponsors and stakeholders
n
- Coordinating cross‐functional teams across technology and business areas
n
- Providing clear status reporting and governance updates to senior stakeholders and project boards
n




- Managing project risks, issues and change requests
n
- Supporting teams through process and technology change initiatives
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency following project delivery
n

You'll also play a role in investigating technology challenges and identifying practical solutions, working with internal teams and external vendors where required.

What We're Looking For

n

To be successful in this role you'll bring:

n

n
- 5+ years' experience delivering IT projects in complex organisations
n
- Strong experience managing projects from initiation through to delivery
n
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and cross‐functional teams
n
- Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence or similar
n
- A structured approach to risk management, reporting and governance
n
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments
