We are a rapid-paced ophthalmology practice in the Pacific Square Centre, Maroubra, looking for 2 articulate friendly Orthoptists to join and complement our group.
n
We at the Eastern Eye Centre, have been offering exceptional patient care for over 25 years. Our focus is to always provide a superior clinical service within a caring environment. Becoming part of a team of six Orthoptists, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our 8 fabulous Ophthalmologists whilst meeting all the clinical expectations of our patients.

We have the opportunity to offer 2 roles one Full-time and one part time position, the diversity and nature of our practice offers a real opportunity to expand your clinical skills and grow within our practice.

Our practice offers a wide range of sub specialty services including cataract, cornea, oculoplastic,
paediatric ophthalmology, adult and paediatric strabismus, medical retina and glaucoma.

Responsibilities

- Assessing visual acuity
n
- IOP measurements
n
- Visual fields
n
- OCT
n
- Pentacam
n
- Fluorescein angiography
n
- Immersion/contact biometry
n
- IOL Master
n
- Subjective refractions
n
- Assisting with intravitreal injections and minor oculoplastic procedures
n
- Post-operative care
n
n
Qualifications & Training
n
n
- Completed B. App. Sc (Orthoptics) / Master of Orthoptics
n
- New graduates are welcome to apply; full training will be provided if required
n
- Ophthalmic assistants and Optometrists also welcome to apply as full training will be provided
n
n
