Join the Molly Wardaguga Institute at Charles Darwin University and contribute to a nationally significant program supporting First Nations maternal and child health.
The National Support Unit (NSU) works in partnership with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services across Australia to strengthen maternal and child health service delivery. Through practical, relationship-based support, the NSU works alongside services to build workforce capability, strengthen clinical and cultural governance, support quality improvement, and develop locally responsive and sustainable models of care.
About the Position
As a Regional Partner Coordinator, you will be a key connection between the NSU and partner organisations in your region. You will build trusted relationships with services, understand their priorities and operating contexts, coordinate tailored support, and connect organisations with the expertise and resources of the broader NSU team.
This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful, system-level change while working alongside First Nations organisations and communities to strengthen outcomes for women, children and families.
Lead regional implementation support for First Nations maternal and child health services, strengthening partnerships, capability and quality improvement
About You To be successful, you will require:
- Relevant qualification in health, education, community services or a related discipline, supported by substantial professional experience.
- Extensive experience within the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Sector (ACCHS), including direct practice and/or program management.
- Robust expertise in maternal, child and family wellbeing programs and service delivery in community-controlled health settings.
- Current professional registration (where applicable) or demonstrated senior professional standing.
- Proven capability in needs assessment, action planning, workforce development, implementation support and continuous quality improvement.
- Demonstrated commitment to First Nations self-determination, cultural safety and respectful engagement with First Nations communities and organisations.
- Experience in data management, partner record keeping and program reporting, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and act as a trusted advisor across multiple stakeholders and organisations.
- Excellent communication,
organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously across a dispersed regional portfolio.
- Willingness and capacity to undertake regular regional and remote travel to support partner sites and build effective on-the-ground relationships.

Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and a valid NT Working with Children clearance
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Academic Level C. The base salary will be $138,554.22– $162,146.91 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $162,108.44 - $189,711.88 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
