Summary: Our global, publicly traded client in Fort Mill, is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join their team! As a Staff Accountant, you will support the accounting team through account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, month-end close activities, SOX compliance tasks, and special projects to ensure accurate financial data for operational and reporting needs. This is a highly stable company with strong potential for internal and upward growth.

Location: Fort Mill, SC – Hybrid

n

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote (of your choice)

n

Flexible Hours: 7:30-4:30, 8-5, 8:30-5:30 - flexible

n

Responsibilities:

n

n
- Play a key role in the monthly close process by ensuring timely journal entry posting, account reconciliations, and completion of all required documentation.
n
- Prepare monthly journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
n
- Maintain accurate records and support SOX compliance.
n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting.
n
- Support ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
n
- 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
n
- Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principals.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
n




- Experience with Accounting ERP systems.
n
- Excellent attention to detail, solid organizational and communication skills.
