Base pay range

n

A$150,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr

n

Global client requires a permanent Information Security Engineer to ensure systems and processes comply to security policies and that security incidents are detected and managed.

n

Based in the Operations team, the successful candidate will be required to:

n

n
- Maintain all required security audit records and prepare these for audit processes
n
- Lead investigations into local security incidents.
n
- Ensure local security systems are effectively configured to detect and block threats.
n
- Ensure vulnerability management is performed as per requirements.
n
- Review requests for change from security perspective and provide advice
n
- Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for the local systems to ensure they comply with security policies.
n

Required skills & experience:

n

n
- Australian Citizenship required to attain Baseline Clearance
n
- A minimum of 3 years+ industry experience in an information security function
n
- Solid technical knowledge of current IT security systems, practises and standards
n
- Experience in using SIEM, vulnerability management tools, intrusion detection and other security systems.
n
- Excellent documentation and communications skills are essential.
n
- Knowledge in information security and cyber security standards, frameworks, and code of practices such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, NIST Cyber Security Framework, etc.
n
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CISM - Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) will be well regarded
