Join Our Aged Care Catering Team

n

Cater Care is seeking a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our aged care team at our Byron Bay site on a part‐time basis. This role involves working in a supportive environment to help deliver quality meal services for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare and assemble food items including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
n
- Assist with meal service, ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer service
n
- Restock supplies before, during, and after service periods
n
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas,



including dishwashing duties
n
- Set tables and assist with plating and meal distribution
n

n

Desired Skills and Experience

n

n
- Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
n
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery highly regarded
n
- Experience in contract catering, aged care, healthcare, or food service environments is desirable
n
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
n
