We are seeking an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our talented team at Coldstream Brewery in Coldstream, Victoria. As the Sous Chef, you will be working closely with the Head Chef and small team in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position that provides support in all aspects of the business. We are very much about team effort - no one gets left behind.

What you'll be doing

Assisting Head Chef in day to day running of kitchen

Assisting Head Chef and team in the preparation and cooking of a wide variety of dishes

Providing valuable work ethic towards stock control and portioning

Running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef

Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained

Participating in menu planning and development

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Providing excellent customer service to our patrons

Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to step up when needed

Strong teamwork and communication skills

A positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced workplace

Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
