The Role

The Responsibilities

As the Remedial Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Site Investigations and diagnosis of building defects,
- Preparing technical site reports, building condition reports and building defects reports,
- Preparing scope of works documents, design drawings, tender and contract documentation,
- Managing projects on-site and inspect construction works,
- Delivering projects to a high standard of quality and expertise,




- Liaising with Clients and Contractors to build relationships and business growth initiatives,
- Preparing fee proposals and meeting minute documents,
- Producing, reviewing, and checking designs and specifications in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and National Construction Codes under limited supervision,
- Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary setting, and,
- Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders as necessary.

The Requirements

- An Engineering degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Valid driving license
- Minimum 1 years post-graduate remedial engineering consultancy experience
- Previous experience in preparing remedial building reports, technical specifications, and tender documentation,
- Excellent written and oral communication skills,
- Familiarity with the Strata and residential industry or working on construction projects,
- Full working rights in Australia
