Silver City Drilling is seeking an experienced and career-driven Warehouse Storeperson to join our team on a permanent full time basis at our Dalby, Queensland yard.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse while ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory to and from the Dalby Warehouse to support our drilling operations. This position offers 40–50 hours per week, attractive remuneration, and the opportunity to join a growing business with long-term contracts in place.

You will provide day-to-day warehouse support to ensure inventory is accurately received, managed, and dispatched in accordance with Silver City Drilling standards. The role involves inventory control, purchasing support, and maintaining a high standard of safety and housekeeping within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods for accuracy and quality.
- Unload, unpack, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct regular stocktakes, investigate inventory variances, and process stock adjustments.
- Accurately process goods receipts,



stock transfer and inventory transactions while maintaining compliance with company inventory control and purchasing procedures.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to drilling rigs.
- Use the MEX inventory management system to receive, catalogue, locate, and track stock.
- Obtain supplier quotations and raise purchase orders when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse in accordance with Silver City Drilling's QHS&E; policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to improve warehouse efficiency and processes.
- Assist with implementing warehouse procedures and inventory controls.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery discrepancies and product returns.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Proven experience as a Warehouse Storeperson or in a similar warehouse role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent organisational and time stock & inventory management skills.
- Experience using inventory management systems (MEX, SAP, or similar) – experience with MEX is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, and Excel.
- A current driver's licence.
- A current forklift licence with practical operating experience.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a challenging environment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
