Additional Information:

- This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/ fortnight
n
- The internal job title for this role is Fulfilment Operations Team Leader
n

- This role requires availability to work Monday to Sunday between the hours of 5pm and 6am (Overnight)
n
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
n
- As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates.

- Previous forklift driving experience and a valid forklift license are essential.

About this work area

n

As an Overnight Fulfilment Operations Team Leader (Inbound), your responsibilities include:

n
- Supporting operations at the main store (Innaloo) by managing daily operations, including container receivals, unloads, internal site replenishment, and external replenishment for the store.
n
- Managing daily activities, rostering, breaks, and achieving KPIs for the Fulfilment Operations team.
n
- Ensuring efficient warehouse systems for stock allocation, inventory control, and conducting investigations related to inventory discrepancies.
n
- Leading recruitment, retention, and development of team talents to ensure a high-performing, diverse team.
n
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work workplace, ensuring compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct and local regulations.
n
- Continuously improving daily operations to enhance customer shopping experience through product quality, merchandising, and stock accuracy.
n
- Promoting quality awareness, implementing local business plans/projects, and analysing workload to achieve operational excellence.
n
- Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, while overseeing day-to-day managerial responsibilities to ensure smooth and efficient fulfilment operations.
n

As Fulfilment Operations Team Leader, you:

n
- Have experience leading teams in operational functions, with a proven record of delivering business results and people development.
n
- Are passionate about customer-centric Fulfilment Operations.
n
- Possess sound computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office.
n
- Have exceptional communication skills for building relationships and managing stakeholders.
n
- Think ahead, remain calm under pressure, and excel in agile decision-making and problem-solving.
n
- Are comfortable with strategic, tactical, and operational tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
n
- Maintain self-awareness and a safety mindset, ensuring a safe working environment while delivering results.
