Community Impact & Partnerships Specialist

- Based across Link Wentworth service locations, with travel required

We are seeking a passionate and experiencedCommunity Impact & Partnerships Specialistto join our Community Programs and Partnerships team.

This newly created role has been established following recent changes to our Homelessness Services team and represents an exciting opportunity to shape how Link Wentworth engages with the homelessness, housing and community services sectors. The role will focus on strengthening partnerships, advocacy, service integration, referral pathways and community impact initiatives to improve outcomes for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, social housing tenants and disadvantaged communities.

Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in increasing Link Wentworth's visibility and influence within the homelessness and housing sectors, driving collaboration, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customers can access the supports they need.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Building and maintaining strategic partnerships across homelessness, housing, health, justice, Aboriginal, multicultural and community service sectors.
- Strengthening referral pathways, service integration and tenancy sustainment outcomes for customers.
- Supporting sector advocacy, thought leadership and Link Wentworth's participation in community and industry networks.
- Coordinating community engagement initiatives, outreach activities and partnership opportunities that improve access to support services.
- Developing internal capability through training, knowledge sharing and promotion of trauma-informed practice.
- Leading and coordinating grant,



funding and tender submissions aligned with organisational priorities and community outcomes.
- Using customer insights, service data and sector intelligence to identify service improvements and innovation opportunities.

Who we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have:

- Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience within homelessness, housing, social housing, community services or a related human services field.
- Strong knowledge of homelessness, tenancy sustainment, SHS pathways and the broader community services sector.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining effective partnerships across government, non-government and community organisations.
- Experience contributing to service improvement, project work, advocacy initiatives, grant applications, tenders, reports or stakeholder engagement activities.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, briefing papers and stakeholder communications.

You will also be:

- Passionate about improving outcomes for people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.
- Skilled at working autonomously while balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- A confident relationship builder who can influence and collaborate without direct authority.
- Committed to trauma-informed, person-centred and culturally safe practice.
- Someone who enjoys identifying opportunities for innovation,



collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will also need:

- A current NSW Driver Licence and access to a registered, roadworthy vehicle.
- A current NSW Working With Children Check.
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check to Link Wentworth's satisfaction.
- Willingness to travel across Link Wentworth service locations as required.
