Millstream Paediatric Developmental Services, in Mount Pleasant seeks a Speech Pathologist to provide neurodevelopmental assessment services.
Role: Speech Pathologist
Remuneration: $90,000 - $110,000 pa
Employment Type: Contract or Permanent; Full-time or Part time
The Role Description
Millstream Paediatrics highly values speech pathology services.
Complete multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adolescents including speech and language, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and specific learning disorder (SLD) in literacy. There is also an option to provide clinic-based speech therapy services if desired.
Even if you do not have any training in autism or neurodevelopment assessment, comprehensive training can be provided.
What Are We Looking For
A Speech Pathologist who is family-centred to assess within a multidisciplinary team with a psychologist and/or paediatrician for assessments. Assessments include autism spectrum disorder assessment using the ADOS-2, speech and language assessments, clinical interviewing, differential diagnoses, comprehensive report writing and providing thorough feedback sessions with families.
Assessments are completed from our clinic in Mount Pleasant.
You are available for irregular team-based statewide travel (DIDO/FIFO), applying your cultural awareness and sensitive practice with diverse populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. This is team travel, so you are not alone.

Millstream Paediatrics is located in a medical precinct on level one of a shopping centre, with ample free parking. You will be highly supported to do your best work.
You will be given PD and work shadowing opportunities right from the start to set the tone for providing quality services. Very well equipped with resources and technology.

Requirements:
You are a qualified and practising speech pathologist with SPA eligibility and no working restrictions.
