Lead complex ICT procurement initiatives and drive strategic sourcing outcomes within a large and diverse organisation.

We are seeking an experienced ICT Procurement & Sourcing Lead to provide procurement leadership, strategic sourcing expertise, and commercial advisory services across a broad portfolio of technology-related projects and categories. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior procurement skilled who thrives on managing complex sourcing activities, influencing key stakeholders, and delivering strategic outcomes.

About the Role

n

As an ICT Procurement & Sourcing Lead, you will provide expert procurement advice and lead strategic sourcing activities across a range of high-value and complex ICT procurement projects. You will manage end-to-end sourcing processes, support business units throughout the procurement lifecycle, and contribute to best-practice procurement outcomes.

Working within a collaborative procurement function, you will partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure procurement activities align with organisational objectives, governance requirements, and value-for-money principles.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Drive category planning and delivery of strategic sourcing initiatives.
n
- Lead complex end-to-end procurement and tender processes.
n
- Develop tender documentation and manage tender evaluations and negotiations.
n
- Provide expert procurement advisory services and category expertise.
n
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
n
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform sourcing strategies.
n
- Review procurement documentation and recommendations to ensure compliance and quality outcomes.
n
- Support procurement planning and sourcing pipeline activities.
n
- Coach and mentor procurement professionals, supporting capability development.
n
- Maintain accurate procurement and contract records across relevant systems and platforms.
n




- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
n

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

n

n
- Degree qualifications in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
n
- Extensive experience managing complex procurement and strategic sourcing activities.
n
- Demonstrated success leading end-to-end tender and contract management processes.
n
- Strong capability in procurement strategy development and commercial advisory services.
n
- Experience operating in complex stakeholder environments and managing competing priorities.
n
- Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
n
- Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail.
n
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting procurement team members.
n
- A commitment to data accuracy, compliance & governance.
n

Essential Requirement

n

Knowledge and experience working with the Queensland Information Technology Contracting (QITC) Framework is highly desirable.
