About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Project Engineer with strong expertise in Electrical, Instrumentation, Monitoring & Control (IM&C;) and SCADA systems to support the planning, design, and delivery of critical operational technology projects.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, and delivery partners, you'll provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle, from concept and design through to commissioning and operational handover.
What You’ll doing:
- Translate complex client requirements into Instrumentation, Monitoring & Control technical engineering solutions,
- Deliver IM&C; and SCADA projects from planning through to implementation.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including Functional Design Specifications.
- Provide expert technical advice to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews, audits, testing, and acceptance activities to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Support the development of IM&C; strategies, standards, and technology roadmaps.
- Ensure project outcomes meet quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
About You:
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience delivering SCADA, telemetry, control systems, or instrumentation projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical design, control systems, and operational technologies.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and control system drawings.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and project coordination skills.
- Experience within water, utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining, or other industrial environments will be highly regarded.
