We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team supporting operations in Moomba, Cooper Basin.

This is a key operational leadership role suited to someone with a strong background in National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) standards, industrial services and project operations, with the ability to lead teams, coordinate resources and maintain high standards across site-based activities.

About the Role

As Operations Manager, you will hold a strategic position responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient resource utilisation, maintaining safety standards and driving operational excellence across the facility. This role is fundamental to the success of our operations and provides the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making whilst managing a diverse team in a challenging and rewarding environment. This role is FIFO on a 2/2 roster.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee daily operational activities and ensure adherence to operational procedures and protocols
- Manage and coordinate operational teams to achieve production targets and operational objectives
- Implement and maintain safety management systems, ensuring all staff comply with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor operational performance metrics, analyse data and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance schedules to ensure facility equipment and infrastructure operate optimally
- Develop and manage operational budgets, control expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Liaise with senior management, external stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and address operational issues
- Lead incident investigations, implement corrective actions and report on safety performance
- Supervise,



mentor and provide training to operational staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Maintain comprehensive operational documentation, records and reporting systems

About You

- Based in either Adelaide, SA OR Brisbane, QLD.
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor or similar senior operational role
- Strong National Codings background and understanding of relevant industry standards
- Experience within oil & gas, mining, energy, infrastructure or industrial services
- NACE Level 2 certification is highly desirable
- Solid leadership and people-management capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of safety, quality and compliance requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a FIFO/site-based setting
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to operational challenges
