McArthur Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to step into an Educational Leader position within a small, inclusive preschool in Lakemba.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who wants to take a leadership role in pedagogy, mentor a supportive team and contribute to high-quality outcomes for children and families.
About the Role
As the Educational Leader, you will:
- Lead and influence pedagogical practice across the service
- Mentor and support educators to build confidence and capability
- Drive reflective practice and continuous improvement
- Support the development of high-quality, play-based programs
- Work collaboratively with allied health professionals and external stakeholders
- Support inclusive practice for children with high support learning needs
- Contribute to compliance, documentation and continuous improvement
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Act as Responsible Person when required

What We’re Looking For
You will ideally have:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Experience applying the National Quality Framework
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, National Law and Regulations
- Experience mentoring or guiding educators
- A solid understanding of inclusive and culturally responsive practice
- Experience supporting children with high support learning needs
- Confidence with documentation, compliance and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
You will also require a current Working with Children Check, National Police Check and NDIS Workers Check, or eligibility to obtain these.
