Casual / Part-Time | Before and After School Hours (Pick ups and Drop offs) |
Locations: Newcastle, Maitland and the Hunter
We are seeking reliable, caring, and safety-focused drivers to join our Assisted School Transport Program, supporting students with additional needs to travel safely to and from school. Work hours may vary depending on your location to the pick up/drop off route.
About the Role
- Safely transport students to and from school
- Provide a calm, supportive, and respectful setting
- Follow allocated routes and schedules
- Work closely with students who may have physical, behavioural, or medical needs
- Represent the program with professionalism and care
Shifts generally operate morning and afternoon during school terms only.
What We’re Looking For
- Current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- Excellent driving record
- Patience, empathy, and reliability
- Ability to work with children and young people with additional needs
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to safety and routine
Requirements (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid
- A current licence and good record
